What happens to my Maine Sales Agent license after the first two years?
The next step is the Associate Broker license, a permanent license which is the license level above the Sales Agent license. The license is issued for a two-year period and is renewable.
To apply for the Associate Broker license you must satisfy the following requirements:
- Practice as a licensed Sales Agent for two years.
- Complete the 60 hour Associate Broker Course with a grade of 75% or above.
- Complete 40 hours of Documented Field Experience.
- Apply to the Maine Real Estate Commission.
